An initiative born of one conviction: every child deserves protection.

SafeChild is an African project, born in Niamey, Niger, to answer a major challenge of our time: children's safety in a context where the risks of abduction, disappearance and getting lost are very real.

We combine technology and human commitment to give families a reliable, simple and affordable solution.

How the project started

SafeChild came from a simple observation made on the ground: parents in Niamey have no suitable tool to know where their child is. Existing solutions come from elsewhere, cost too much, assume a recent smartphone and a stable connection, and ignore the reality of local networks.

Rather than adapting a product designed for another market, we chose to start from the ground: a device that works on 2G, a subscription payable with Mobile Money, a lightweight app, support in Niamey. That deliberate constraint is what defines the product.
