Our solution

A simple device, built for our reality.

SafeChild pairs a connected device with a mobile app. Real-time tracking and daily peace of mind, with no technical complexity for the family.

The SafeChild GPS device, compact and black

The SafeChild device

Compact, light and discreet, it is worn around the neck or slipped into a schoolbag. The child has nothing to operate: the device does the work on its own.

Works on local networks (2G/3G)

Built for the coverage actually available in the region, not for a theoretical 5G.

Built for the Sahel climate

Heat, dust, daily use by a child: the device is designed to last.

Several days of battery life

Frequent charging would get in the way of real use. The device lasts several days.

Data protection and privacy

Location data is encrypted in transit and is never sold.

SafeChild app screen showing the child's position on a map

The mobile app

Built for parents and guardians, it stays deliberately simple: a map, alerts, a button. Nothing superfluous.

  • Real-time location

Follow your child's position at any time with optimal accuracy.

  • SOS alert

In an emergency, your child can instantly alert every guardian.

  • Safe zones

Set safe zones (school, home, neighbourhood…) and get alerted if your child leaves them.

The platform

Between the device and the app, a platform receives positions, triggers zone-exit alerts and pushes SOS calls to every guardian. It is securely hosted and designed to stay reliable even when the network is weak.

How it works, step by step

1

The child wears the device

Light and discreet, the SafeChild device is worn around the neck or slipped into a schoolbag. The child has nothing to do day to day.

2

It connects to the GPS/GSM network

The device uses the GPS/GSM network to send its position. It works with a SIM card over 2G/3G coverage, suited to the region's networks.

3

Parents follow in real time

From the mobile app, each guardian sees the child's position on a map, reviews the history and defines safe zones.

4

In an emergency, the alert goes out at once

Zone exit or a press on the SOS button: every guardian is notified immediately, with no delay and no action needed.
